Scorsese is always considered the greatest living filmmaker. Whether or not you agree, even his critics consider him one of the greatest that’s ever lived. Even when doing some fairly standard genre biopic material with the Aviator or remakes like The Departed and Cape Fear, he still manages to put a personal touch on the material and create the sort of film, like Taxi Driver, that simply pulls you directly into its world.

The Last Dragon was a film produced by Motown Records in the mid-eighties, and while it was sort of created as a way to market a few singles, notably Oh Sheila, the film still stands as a pretty good Kung Fu movie, a good comedy, and one of the all time must download movies of the eighties. It’s fun, funny, sort of corny and very eighties.

Walter Hill directed Streets of Fire as an attempt at making what he believed would’ve been the absolute best movie ever when he was a teen. He wrote the script by simply writing a checklist of things he loved as a kid, and making sure that the script included everything on the list. We’d put it on any top movie downloads list of great eighties flicks.

The Vampire Diaries, developed by Kevin Williamson, are a television series premised on the widely accepted books authored by L.J. Smith. The book series also shares the same title. CW Television Network debuted The Vampire Diaries on September 10, 2009. The success of that first season led to a second, which began in February, 2010.
