If you do not have a food budget in order then you are spending too much money on your groceries. When you have a food budget you are able to save money every month when you go grocery shopping. To make a budget for your groceries it is best to make a menu plan for the month and stick with it. If you are sticking to a menu plan you will know what you are going to be cooking and on what night you will be cooking it. This will keep you from spending more money on groceries than you need to.
