First Time Cruisers
Have you got any experience with the cruiser? Cruising can be a grand experience provided you are aware of few important things.
If you need to fly or drive to the harbor, it is recommended that you have enough time in your hands to tackle with flight delays, lost luggage, traffic back-ups etc. Reaching very early will again make you stand in line for too long to check in.
Before cruising for the first time, you need to have some idea about the cost. Normally, the cost of the cruise includes all the lodging on the ship, all meals, port charges, the conveyance between the airport and the cruise ship. Obviously, the alcohol cost, spa service, shore excursions; tips on services rendered are not included in the cost of cruising.
There should be some guidelines on the recommended amount of the materials you receive from the cruise line. Generally, the people you tip are your cabin warden and your waiters / waitresses; they take good care of you.
The cruising is all about choice. If you want to dress for meal and want to eat in the dining hall, you can; or you can dress simple and eat in the informal café. Every evening, there’s a choice of activity waiting for you in the cruise, such as shows, some gambling, etc. When the ship reaches different ports, you can get off and explore or stay on the ship and lounge by the pool. You’ll enjoy more when you are in a group at the time of cruising.
