Nine. The Dick Van Dyke Show. Just about everybody on this show was hilarious. An absolute classic.
Eight. Arrested Development. Ron Howard was this cable tv show’s creator. Based on the daily lives of the very funny Bluth family who lost their family business due to corruption..
7. It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia. A very funny show which gives off the same vibe as Seinfeld but with a more adult theme added to it. You will love the characters.
I Love Lucy. This very funny show has been showing on the air since 1951. Obviously, re-runs but still funny even in today’s standards. This show has many die-hard fans proven by the I Love Lucy conventions every year.
Five. Curb Your Enthusiasm. From the creator of Seinfeld, Larry David, is brilliant when playing his selfish and grossly politically incorrect alter ego. Very profane language.
Four. The Simpsons. Yes, it’s a cartoon. But a cartoon that has been making us all laugh for 20 odd years.
All In The Family. Another one of the classics that opened more doors for other sitcoms. Incredibly funny but they did so with intelligence rather than cheap shots.
2. Seinfeld. The funniest sitcom of all time? Many believe so even down to the very last episode.
The Honeymooners. How funny can 4 characters in a kitchen be? Apparently, very funny. Insanely funny in fact and this show is still being aired on television for that very fact.

Expatriates in Singapore realize that it is truly expensive to rent a hotel room when they plan to stay for a considerable length of time in the country. An answer to this costly predicament is purchasing a residential property in the country.
The Singapore government officials do not prevent foreigners from acquiring residential properties in the country.
Mainly, Singapore’s Residential Property Act aims to let Singapore citizens to acquire, at affordable rates, their own residential properties. In addition, this act supports foreign nationals who are recognized by the Singapore government to have made important contributions to the economy of the city-state in their wish to buy residential properties within Singapore.
Even without any licenses or approval from Singapore government officials, a foreigner may buy non-restricted residential properties. Non-restricted residential properties are identified as any of the following:
- apartment units within a structure that is not higher than 6 levels – condo units in approved condominium development sites stipulated in the Planning Act – a lease contract on a restricted property; the term should not exceed seven years
Official sanction from Singapore’s Minister of Law is required of expats who wish to own all units in an apartment or condominium in an accredited development property.
Furthermore, a foreign national who wishes to buy residential properties that are categorized as restricted cannot do so without prior official sanction from Singapore’s Minister of Law.
The following are categorized as restricted residential properties by the Residential Property Act of Singapore:
- an empty residential lot – town houses, separate or semi-detached houses, or terraced houses built on residential lands – properties not approved for condominium development under the Planning Act
If a foreign national wishes to buy a restricted residential property, the foreign national is obliged to fill out a request form and submit this, along with supporting documents, to the Singapore Land Authority. The Singapore Land Authority is responsible for evaluating and approving the qualifications of an expatriate whether he or she will be eligible to own a restricted residential property.

One of the best things about childhood is getting to pretend. Pretend play brings out the creativity in children while encouraging them to invent with their own ideas. Teachers love to see their students engaging in this kind of play. It can be like a little window into how they think, what they like to do, and what their talents are. classroom furniture is a great way to encourage pretend play within the classroom. The simple set up of classroom table and chairs can give kids a place to study, create art and work on projects. Students can pretend they are at the dinner table while they serve and eat pretend food. This gives students a relaxed setting to act like a family and take turns doing different jobs. Students may also arrange the table and chairs in a way that represents the classroom, pretending to be teacher and students. For a teacher, it is exciting to see students play school. It gives insight into what they are learning and what type of teaching they mimic. Teachers can observe and get some understanding into what parts of the day and what types of lessons kids enjoy. They will pick their favorite things to act out. A table and chairs is also a good setting for pretend office play. Maybe students have seen their parents work at an office, have visited the school office, or watched the teacher work at her desk. For teachers, this type of play is a good way to see which students take the leadership roles and which students take other roles. Having book displays in the classroom give students the perfect setting to play library or book store. This kind of play will encourage students to read and become interested in books. Students can take turns being the librarian or cashier and describe the books to the other students. Whatever classroom furniture you have in your classroom, it can be used to encourage pretend play in students. This will give you, as the teacher, a look into the personality of each student and give you many options to reinforce classroom lessons.

Seattle Slew died on May 7, 2002 at the age of 28. One of only 11 winners of horse racing’s prestigious ‘Triple Crown’ he is by default considered among the all time greats in thoroughbred racing. Of the eleven horses to win the Triple Crown, he is the only one to do so with an undefeated record. He was also notable due to his humble beginnings, and is the only Triple Crown winner to have been purchased at public auction. He retired to stud in’78 and sired over 100 stakes race winners including’84 Kentucky Derby champion, Swale. Slew’s offspring have earned a combined $76 million dollars at the race track. Slew wasn’t the most majestic looking creature by the lofty standards of race horses, but was possessed with the heart, toughness and courage of a professional prizefighter.
The Seattle Slew story started at a public auction in Kentucky–not exactly a venue expected to produce a future champion. Slew, in particular, was an unlikely heir to greatness. He was somewhat clumsy looking due to a front right forefoot splay and had a shuffling gait at trot. Slew wasn’t a beautifully majestic creature like his Triple Crown winning predecessor, Secretariat. In fact, he could have been considered borderline ugly–to the extent that he was nicknamed ‘Baby Huey’ by the Keeneland staff. What wasn’t apparent at the time was Slew’s mixture of championship intangibles–competitive desire, toughness, heart and enthusiasm. His owners had unwittingly stumbled onto an equine Muhammad Ali, and his competitive fire quickly became apparent to his trainers and jockeys. His first race came at Belmont Park in’76, and he entered–and won–three races as a two year old giving a glimpse as to what like ahead.
Slew became the Kentucky Derby favorite by winning his three prep races as a three year old, including prestigious Wood Memorial. In the Derby, Slew got off to a terrible start as he stumbled from the gate much like War Emblem did in the 2002 Belmont. Unlike 2002’s Triple Crown contender, however, Slew was able to recover from that miscue and basically force his way through a pack of other horses to position himself at the front of the field at the quarter mile pole. Slew would win the Derby by a length and 3 quarters. He took another tough victory at the Preakness before clinching the Triple Crown with a 4 length victory in the Belmont Stakes.
Slew ran in a few races as a 4 year old but in the pre-Breeders’ Cup days there wasn’t as many opportunities for an older horse. He retired to stud in’78, where he sired champions such as the aforementioned Swale and’92 Belmont Champ AP Indy.
In some ways, Slew had much in common with the heavyweight championship reign of Larry Holmes. He came so quickly on the heels of such incredible excellence–Slew was forever in the shadow of’73 Triple Crown winner Secretariat, Holmes on the heels of Muhammad Ali–that he never gained the appreciation he deserved during his prime. In hindsight, however, it has finally been noted what an exceptional horse he really was. Jockey Angel Cordero, who rode Slew during the twilight of his career noted “If I had a chance to take any horse in the world, if someone said your life is depending on riding one horse to win, I would take (Slew). I rode 44,000 horses, but he was special, he was different. He was muscled, like a wrestler. He ran different than any other horse. It was like he came from another planet.”
Slew was laid to rest at Hill ‘n’ Dale Farm in Lexington, under a statue.

UV radiation is a massive quandary for the skins ageing. When UV rays strike the skin, Free Radicals are then activated. These free radicals are electrons that are in an unpaired state. Because of this they then look for for electrons that they can pair up with.In doing this they are capable of attaching to healthy electrons, and because they are unhealthy themselves they injure the healthy electron they have become attached to.
With reference to the skins ageing, the skins healthy cells are damaged and extinguished by these Free Radicals. This causes the skins cells to either become so damaged that they cannot divide and deliver new cells, or they are destroyed completely before their life term should end. This is how sun damage has the effect it has and why your skin can look older and more ragged than it should. The good news is that EGCG can wipe out the Free Radical electrons, it does not allow them to attach to healthy cells. Thus, it can prevent sun damage.
In saying this, it does not mean it is safe for you to lay under the sun for as long as you please and think that a cup of Green Tea will save your skin, however it does mean that for those rays that get through your sun cream, most of them will be extinguished before they can do any damage. In the world today, there are many more individuals who believe in reincarnation, than there are individuals who do not. Journaling

Sit or lie down in a comfortable position. Make sure you are in a positive, receptive frame of mind. Focus on relaxing your muscles and then quiet your mind. If unwanted concerns float in, quickly acknowledge them and let them go. This can take some practice. Focus on your heart and don\’t expect anything but relaxation. If you have a question to ask, ask it and let it go. The answer will most likely come when you least expect it.
The images that come to you are helpful for resolving some issue in your present life, whether you believe in reincarnation or not. Carolina Panthers\’ quarterback Jake Delhomme struggled on Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and was fortunate that his running backs bailed him out. Delhomme threw for only 65 yards with two interceptions, but D\’Angelo Williams (152 yards) and Jonathan Stewart (110 yards) kept the chains moving as the Panthers won their second straight game defeating the Bucs 28-21. Tampa Bay has now lost ten straight dating back to last season and are 0-6 for the first time since\’85. The fact that they ended up starting that year 0-9 on their way to a 1-15 record doesn\’t bode well for the rest of the season.
NFL sports bettors were faced with a choice between two teams with dismal ATS records in this game, and those who had the guts to take a 1-3 team as a -3 road favorite were rewarded with the cover. It was Carolina\’s first NFL pointspread cover of the season and left them with a 1-4 record against the number. Tampa Bay has covered one of their six games this year. The 49 points scored went OVER the total of 40\’. Tampa Bay has gone OVER in 4 of 6, while Carolina has exceeded the total in three of their five games.
Delhomme attempted only seven passes in the second half, but the way Williams and Stewart were running there was no reason to put the ball in the air. Williams said that even though Tampa Bay knew what was coming they couldn\’t stop the Panthers\’ running game:
\”I\’m sure everybody in the stadium knew what we were going to do. There were times they had nine in the box and we were still getting 7 or 8 yards.\”
There\’s been little impatience locally with Bucs\’ rookie head coach Raheem Morris, but his weekly habit of explaining the obvious to rationalize yet another loss is starting to wear thin:
\”We got overpowered at the end, and really throughout the game.\”
Carolina safety Dante Wesley was ejected after clobbering Bucs\’ return man Clifton Smith after a fair catch call. After the game, Wesley gave this defense for his actions:
\”I was just trying to make a play. You can check my record. I\’ve never really tried to hurt anybody. I\’ve never tried to take a cheap shot on anybody.\”
Wesley could face a possible fine or suspension from the NFL but, in all fairness, it did appear to be a momentary mental lapse as he was trying to make a big play and not a deliberate attempt to injure Smith.
Tampa\’s schedule has the look of them going from \’the frying pan into the fire\’ as they host the New England Patriots next Sunday-fresh off of their 57 point drubbing of Tennessee. Carolina has an easier draw, hosting the Buffalo Bills next Sunday. The game is currently off the board pending the status of Bills\’ QB Trent Edwards who suffered a concussion in Sunday\’s win over the New York Jets. The Panthers will then play on the road the following two Sundays, traveling to Arizona and New Orleans.

The Green Bay Packers didn\’t do a good job protecting their quarterback last Sunday, but against the lowly Detroit Lions it didn\’t really matter. Packers\’ QB Aaron Rodgers was sacked five times, but Green Bay used a big first half offensive outburst to coast to a 26-0 NFL victory over the Detroit Lions. Rodgers threw two first half touchdown passes which was complimented by four Mason Crosby field goals as Green Bay improved to 3-2 on the season. The Lions slumped to 1-5 with the loss.
NFL football betting enthusiasts who backed the Packers as -14 home dogs easily cashed their tickets with Green Bay\’s third pointspread cover in five games. Detroit slipped to 2-4 against the spread.
In the victory, Packers\’ receiver Donald Driver passed Sterling Sharpe for first place on the franchise reception list. Sharpe finished his career with 596 receptions, Driver now has 602. After the game, he talked about the accomplishment:

Its that time of the year again–Americans are getting ready for football. In a few months NFL teams will be opening training camp and college football teams starting practice. Up north, however, the footballs are already flying as pro football is in full swing up in Canada with the Canadian Football League (CFL).
American football fans may not realize just how long and storied the history of Canadian pro football CFL style actually is. The league has been around since\’30 and the Grey Cup championship (essentially the CFL Superbowl) has been in existence since\’09. Many NFL stars got their start in the CFL including Doug Flutie, Jim Kelly, and Jeff Garcia.
While the CFL plays football at the highest professional level of competition outside of the NFL, there are a few differences in the game:
The most obvious difference is the football itself–the CFL football is longer and fatter than the NFL ball. The CFL still has their goal posts on the goal line, which the NFL moved to the back of the end zone years ago. The field is 10 yards longer and 12 yards wider than the NFL field, and the CFL end zones are 20 yards deep instead of the NFL\’s 10 yards.
CFL teams are allowed an extra offensive player (a wide receiver), and on defense they\’re allowed an extra defensive back. This means that 12 players can be on the field at one time as opposed to 11 in the NFL. CFL football also differs in that teams only have three downs to gain ten yards, as opposed to four in US football. The phrase \”two and out\” is as commonplace in CFL football as is \”three and out\” in the US game.
A major difference in the scoring is the \’single\’ which awards CFL teams one point for a kick–usually a punt or missed field goal–that lands in the end zone. This will frequently produce partial game scores of 1-0 or 1-1 that are impossible in the US game.
The rule differences also extend into the front office, where teams are required to have a certain quota of their roster be Canadian born. In an effort to prevent the CFL from becoming an NFL farm system, and to protect the unique identity of Canadian football\’ of the 40 players on the roster must be natives.
Many US football fans look at the rules that include more players, a wider field, and fewer downs meant to encourage more passing and expect to see a wide open high scoring style of play similar to Arena Football. That\’s not really how it works out–most games end up with final score totals in the 40\’s, but the game itself really isn\’t much more offensively oriented than its American counterpart. The rules may be different, but as in the NFL you need a solid rushing game and a stout defense to win games and championships.
There\’s also more parity in the CFL than even the NFL, which is famous for the competitive equality of their teams. The reason is fairly simple–football at the high school and college level in Canada simply isn\’t as competitive as in the US. That means the mandated ratio of native players also serves to facilitate parity within the CFL.
The CFL isn\’t in a financial position to draw the top level US players away from the NFL or, in most cases, even a NFL practice or developmental squad. While some US players are uniquely suited to the CFL style of play, most of the US players that end up there are of a similar talent level as to that seen in Arena Football.
The bottom line is that despite the rule differences and personal quotas the CFL game is still football and can be enjoyed the same way. Once you understand the unique attributes of the Canadian game youll start to enjoy it almost as much as the NFL.
In the pre-Internet era, it was often difficult for US fans to find information on the CFL. They don\’t get coverage on ESPN, but they receive extensive attention in the Canadian press. Each CFL city has their own sports media, and the official CFL website also has many resources including previews and statistics.

What Is Dream Control?
Dream control, using lucid dreaming, means that not only are you fully aware that you are dreaming, but that you\’re also able to control what happens during the dream. While totally asleep, you realize that what seems to be going on is actually a dream and you are solely in control of the events that play out as well as the final outcome.
Dream control can be a great help to people who suffer from recurring nightmares. The simple, yet powerful technique of lucid dreaming can enable these people to get a full nights sleep.
Common Methods of Inducing Lucid Dreaming

This method of learning dream control was developed by scientist Dr. Stephen LaBerge and is known as MILD (sort for mnemonic induction of lucid dreams). This technique can let you control the course of events in your dreams; you are only limited by your imagination!
Another means of achieving lucid dreaming is by keeping a dream diary or journal, using a small notebook and pen kept by your bedside to write down everything you can remember in the minutes after waking up. After doing this for a few nights, you\’ll start to notice being able to remember what you\’ve written and have a similar dream in which you can then begin to control what happens.
You can beat back those nightmares, go anywhere, do anything and talk to anyone you want in these dreams. There are no limits except for your imagination to your dreams once you have mastered the techniques of dream control.
The experts say do that there is, however, one potential drawback to lucid dreaming, as much like anything in life, too much of a good thing can actually have the opposite effect. The main reason for this being that one of the most valuable aspects of dreaming \’naturally\’ is that it often tell us important things about ourselves that otherwise would have remained hidden forever. So enjoy dreaming lucidly. It really is an amazing experience, but remember to give yourself a few nights off!
